Who We Are
Richard Creative Design Director
Richard, who is one of the directors fell into computing and building bespoke I.T hardware in the 90’s, by 1999 he was the proud owner of Global Computers Ltd a hardware manufacturing company who made bespoke software too. In 2004 a customer of his offered to buy the company and a deal was struck!Between 2007 - 2014 Richard was the Director for NHS and Domiciliary services, a board director at Specsavers and immersed himself in all things on the innovation spectrum trailblazing where no-one had ventured before. From 2014 to date he has consulted on large IT infrastructure projects and continued to work with the NHS and corporate world. Finally setting up Health Monkey Ltd in 2018, to look at new ways of working online.At Health Monkey Ltd, we started as a small team of designers and developers with a passion for creating beautiful and functional websites for small businesses. Over the years, we've grown into a full-service web design agency, but our commitment to quality and affordability remains the same.
Lynsey Director of Operations
Lynsey seen here with one of her running partners (Jazz) is also one of the Directors at Health Monkey Ltd- she has worked with large corporations like Specsavers, charities like Healthwatch and currently is working with the NHS and the Primary Care Networks. She is the `Director of Operations and oversees all the day to day running of the business.
She is currently working on redeveloping a databank storage facility and building the infrastructure for us to grow into...
Alan Technical Director
Alan has been involved in IT since the original Commodore Pet was released in 1977... He still builds custom hardware- but his speciality is programming and his understanding of Python, Visual Basic, Java, C+ and Basic. He can pretty much turn his hand to anything and is the most intelligent person I have ever met. (that is saying something in this company)
Anna Commercial Photographer
Anna is our commercial photographer and drone pilot for those hard to reach shots. She has always seen life through a lens and has an amazing eye. Some of her best work has been action photographs of animals in their natural habitat such as the koi fry on the left here, no larger than a small match, but crystal clear all the same. Anna too is working on an NHS project at the minute which is very hands on. Studying photography at Myerscough College and having state of the art equipment is still no substitute for ‘the knowledge’.
Matthew Social Media & Videographer
Matt is one our youngest and brightest rising stars... Working on a project in Newcastle as this is where he is at University, he is just 19 years old and is enrolled on a 5 year course- he is on our payroll because he has IT in his veins. From building hardware to looking after social media campaigns and videography. Film making and shorts have helped Matt reach new heights in his career. We are hoping Matt once he has finished University will become a full time Director at Health Monkey Ltd.
Amelia Content Writer
Amelia is an outstanding content writer, she loves gadgets, and all thing Ai. Whilst she is the newest member of the team she certainly knows how to drive valuable traffic, instigate interactions with your customers and converse well beyond her natural scope. Watch this space, I feel we have a new breed of Director in training, with old school values.
